Based on industry research, Silk management has determined that there is unsatisfied demand, price and occupancy support in the fast-growing luxury market segment which is distinctive for its level of achievement, discerning tastes, and appetite for exceptional experiences (pre-qualified and owning $10 million or more in financial assets).

Heritage member clubs have generally not been updated to meet contemporary luxury needs and demands, while university clubs focus on university alumni. Moreover, contemporary luxury clubs lack an appreciable room component while luxury international concierge companies do not offer physical locations.

However, Silk locations will be international in scope. Members and hotel guests will come to a variety of international locations including New York, Miami, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore where they will work, hold meetings with and entertain in-town and out-of-town guests, socialize, attend our curated cultural programs, stay overnight when travelling and for weekend getaways, or book stays for out of town clients. Silk will both re-purpose existing historical structures that meet our criteria, and build new properties. Silk's design aesthetic is a sophisticated blend of urban chic meets global fusion.

Skillfully combining and integrating our luxury private members club with a luxury boutique hotel “As One”, supported by excellent concierge services and great cultural programming will create substantial synergies. The hotel and club components will scale independently while mutually supporting each other.

First, our private members club will significantly enhance and stabilize room occupancy with members driving a projected minimum of 14% of occupancy in year 1 to 38% in year 5 of operations. Also the community element of the private members club will be a general draw for affiliated and non affiliated hotel guests alike. Conversely, our luxury guest rooms will provide a significant amenity to our private members club which in most other contemporary private member clubs is generally inadequate or completely lacking. Finally, the synergies achieved by Silk will be further enhanced as we expand Silk to major gateway cities around the globe.
